Productivity hack that I use everyday
Hi,
On a daily basis and one of the most fundamental productivity arsenal in my bag is the ability to go into a day with a plan and when I say a plan - I mean a set of to-do list that I intend to complete through during the course of the day.
And, to implement such a process I’ve been using Notion to actively accomplish my daily activities. Notion has an active system called the ‘toggle’ as seen by the side-ways triangle which can host multitude of information. For personal reasons, I’ve not gone into the details of my daily activities. But, its a very clean way to organise my daily activities.
Daily toggles for the month of March
I have been practicing this habit since November, 2019. Now, the advantage of this I can use the to-do list to batch my day to a specific activity.
My weekly agenda
With my weekly agenda at hand, I can focus on the activity of the day and continue to work through it whether that be creating new content for my blog channel, or writing my script for a Youtube video.
What I'm reading now?
I am currently reading Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less - By Greg McKeown. Something to share from Kindle highlights.
Essentialism is not about how to get more things done; it’s about how to get the right things done. It doesn’t mean just doing less for the sake of less either. It is about making the wisest possible investment of your time and energy in order to operate at your highest point of contribution by doing only what is essential.
My favourite things from last week
Podcast - The Tim Ferriss Show - Josh Waitzkin on Beginner’s Mind, self Actualization, and advice from Your Future Self.
